Martha Ritz, a young widow, bought The Exchange Hotel in 1927 and renamed it The Ritz. Martha married Tom Bailey, and this inimitable pair ran The Ritz Hotel for many years. Martha’s spirit lives on with easy food, cool drinks and the only patio in Bayfield to have sunshine from sunrise to sunset.
The Martha Ritz has four comfy rooms, with private baths available. Perfect for the summer retreat, cottage overflow and impromptu fall visit. Rates are $125.00 per night with a country continental breakfast included.
