Niagara-on-the-Lake is ideally situated for short getaways or longer touring holidays. The village itself is renowned for the Shaw Festival, excellent boutique shopping and fine dining. There are several historic sites and museums in town, and our side streets, with their beautifully preserved homes and lush gardens, are wonderful for relaxed strolls.

Ontario's Niagara wine country is beloved by visitors. Touring estate wineries is a popular pastime, and Harbour House has designed cozy nooks both indoors and on the patio so that guests may enjoy their winery purchases in a beautiful setting. Niagara Falls is a short drive away along the scenic Niagara Parkway. En route are several historic sites, a butterfly conservatory, acres of parklands and the Niagara Glen Conservation area for hiking. Cyclists and walkers enjoy a riverside, off-road paved trail that connects our village with Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls has many cultural and natural attractions and a popular casino.
